Ladies-Only Motorcycle Expedition from Leh to Srinagar: Heels on Wheels!

The journey begins in Leh, where the high-altitude desert and vibrant culture set the stage. From here, we’ll dive into the adventure with an awe-inspiring acclimatization ride, exploring the iconic monasteries and rugged terrain that surround this enchanting city. As you prepare for the road ahead, the thrill of adventure will mix with the camaraderie of riding together.
This tour is about more than just the ride—it’s about discovering the Himalayas as a woman. You’ll experience luxury with carefully chosen hotels but also live the authenticity of homestays in remote villages, where the simple comforts let you connect with the region’s soul. The roads? They’re a mix, just like life. Smooth and scenic at times, a bit of gravel here and there—but always with views that take your breath away. You’ll pass through iconic places like the shimmering blue waters of Pangong Tso Lake, the awe-inspiring Drang Drung Glacier, and the thrilling Zozilla Pass. Along the way, you’ll stop at ancient monasteries, see the meeting point of the Zanskar and Indus rivers, and ride through remote Himalayan valleys.

You’ll unwind in a Taj signature hotel overlooking Dal Lake, gliding through its calm waters on a Shikara cruise, and enjoying an intimate dinner on the enchanting “Char Chinar” island. WEATHER:
If you don’t like the weather in the Himalayas, just wait a few hours—it will likely change! The towering peaks create unique microclimates in each valley, causing the weather to shift rapidly. One moment it can be sunny and warm, and just a few hours later, clouds may roll in, bringing cooler temperatures. While our tour takes place during the most favorable season for weather, predicting the temperatures remains challenging. You should be prepared for anything—from bright, sunny days to sudden gusts of cold wind, and chilly nights
MOTORCYCLE GEAR:
Wearing adequate riding gear is an individual responsibility. We strongly recommend “adventure” or hard-shell type boots for this ride. Bring your own gear.
LUGGAGE:
We will be traveling light. Try not to take more than one 20kg luggage piece. It should be dust & water proof. For riding days take with you a small backpack or waterproof bag, with straps, to enable you to attach it to your motorbike.
IMPORTANT, REMEMBER:
Each participant is required to arrange a tourist entry visa to India.
We will be traveling at very high altitudes, be sure you have sunscreen and sunglasses. The tour is rated 6/10 because of the altitude. Remember that you must drink a lot of water to minimize this risk. In case you feel sick, we will have an oxygen cylinder with us.

DEPOSIT FOR THE MOTORCYCLE:
Refundable motorcycle deposit of US$500. Cash payment on site on the first day. If the damage to the motorcycle exceeds the amount of the refundable deposit, the driver should pay the difference.
