Off-bike adventures: animals, jungle waterfalls, zip-lining, horseback riding, and warm ocean swims
Boutique accommodation: Small, character-rich hotels surrounded by nature
Off the beaten path: Explore remote regions for a true Costa Rican experience
The Ride
Costa Rica is made for motorcycles. With beach riding and mountains running down the center, the riding is endlessly varied. One hour you’re carving smooth asphalt through misty forests, the next you’re climbing gravel roads above green valleys or splashing through shallow river crossings. The pace is fun and flowing, never repetitive.
Beyond the Motorcycle
This tour is about more than riding. Between stages, you’ll swim beneath hidden jungle waterfalls, glide through the treetops on ziplines, enjoy thermal baths, or even ride horses along hillside trails. Time is built in to relax and make the most of your time in Costa Rica.
Each night ends in hand-picked boutique hotels, chosen for comfort, atmosphere, and location. These are places to unwind, share stories, and enjoy Costa Rica’s laid-back rhythm—far from crowds and big resorts.
Who This Tour Is For
This Costa Rica motorcycle tour is ideal for riders looking to escape winter weather and combine great riding, tropical nature, and adventure activities in one smooth, fast-flowing itinerary. Sunshine, jungle, ocean, and two wheels—this is Costa Rica at its best. This tour will also be enjoyed by less experienced riders.

WEATHER:
The weather at this time of year is generally good but variable. This is the transition period from rain season to dry season. So the temperatures are wamr and pleasant, still not too hot, but it may rain from time to time. It is a bit cooler at night and in the higher mountains.
MOTORCYCLE GEAR:
Wearing adequate riding gear is an individual responsibility. We strongly recommend “adventure” type boots. Bring your own gear.
LUGGAGE:
We’ll be riding light — and you’ll thank yourself for it after day one. One piece of luggage (up to 20 kg) is more than enough. Bringing more usually means carrying things you won’t use. Your bag should be dust- and waterproof. For riding days, a small backpack or a waterproof roll bag with straps works best, so you can fix it securely to your bike.
IMPORTANT, REMEMBER:
Costa Rica is easy to travel in — friendly people, relaxed atmosphere, and no stress when it comes to payments. Many places accept USD, and ATMs are available in bigger towns and tourist spots. For the ride, adventure-style boots will work best. You might get a quick tropical shower now and then, so a waterproof layer is worth packing.
