TOUR DESCRIPTION:
Embark on an off-road journey through the wild heart of Kyrgyzstan! After touching down in Bishkek, dive into the vibrant energy of Osh bazaar. The real adventure begins as you throttle through rugged landscapes to the quaint village of Kyzyl Oi, and then onto the breathtaking shores of Song Kul lake, where you’ll sleep under the stars in a traditional yurt and, if you’re up for it, awaken your inner nomad on horseback!
From there, ride through mountain passes to the ancient Silk Road caravanserai of Tash Rabat before continuing to Naryn, where modern comforts meet remote wilderness. The demanding track to either Tosor or Ara Bel pass are sure to remain a highlight. Arriving at the shores of Issyk Kul for some lakeside R&R.
As the journey heats up, you’ll encounter the beauty of Skazka Canyon before witnessing a traditional eagle hunting demonstration in Karakol. Push further into the remote valleys of Sary Jhaz and Karkara. A soak in the natural hot springs of Cholpon Ata will rejuvenate you and help clean some of the dust off!

WEATHER:
Temperatures will vary, ranging from as low as 5°C at night to over 30°C some days. We’ll reach high altitudes where it can get much cooler and the weather can change suddenly. You must be prepared for all types of weather, especially chilly nights in the tents. Rain, and even snow, is also a possibility.
MOTORCYCLE GEAR:
This is an off-road tour. We strongly recommend “adventure” or hard-shell motocross type boots for this ride. Bring your own gear.
LUGGAGE:
We will be traveling light. Please do not bring more than 1 piece, 20 kg soft bag while on tour. It should be dust & water proof. You can leave luggage in Bishkek.
DRZ400’s have no luggage racks. On this tour, we recommend a backpack of max 16L with a 2L water bladder.
IMPORTANT, REMEMBER:
This is an off-road tour: Bring adequate riding gear.
It is not possible to strap bags on the DRZ400’s.
