TOUR DESCRIPTION:
This beautiful motorcycle tour is accessible for all riders, also to newer one and the car drivers / passengers! Our tour will bring you close to the real Vietnam, which charmed us so much. It is made special by lush vegetation, impressive landscapes, winding mountain roads, very comfortable hotels and the visit of historical sites.
This Vietnam motorcycle tour route between Hoi An all the way up to Hanoi is distinguished by lush vegetation, impressive landscapes, amazing natural surroundings and valleys that swarm from life. The ancient town of Hoi An, a superb World Heritage site will steal the show for sure! On the way to the old capital Hue, famous for the Vietnamese emperors’ tombs, we will cross famous Cloud Pass. The historical Vinh Moc Tunnels will definitely leave you speechless with awe.
On our way, we will go passed minority villages before we find our way to another World Heritage site, the famous Phong Nha – Ke Bang, with mind-blowing caves – the Paradise Cave and Pho Nha Caves- all described as ridiculously spectacular! In Ninh Binh we will try the cruise on the small traditional boat moved by the power of the legs of the paddler. Last but not least, we will follow the Ho Chi Minh trail which will take us close to the Laos borders and also go passed the fertile Mai Chau valley.
We’ll certainly make a stop to see the ancient water wheels, originally created by ethnic Thai people, but still in use today to irrigate the rice fields. We will finish riding in beaitiful Hanoi. But this will not be the end of our trip! After the exciting old town sightseeing by classic Russian 4×4 car GAZ and the night in the luxury hotel in the heart of the old town, we will be transferred to the world famous Ha Long Bay! Our tour will end with a cruise (2 days / 1 night) on a 5 star boat!
Traveling through different regions of the country we will have a chance to try different types of Vietnamese cuisine – no comparison with the fast-food joints back home! Those who think Vietnamese food is essentially Pho soup and spring rolls are in for a pleasant surprise! Vietnam food is varied, always fresh and delicious.

WEATHER:
The weather at this time of year is generally good and sunny – it is the period with the least amount of rainfall during the whole year. It can be very hot, especially in the central part of the country. Be also prepared for a few rainfalls. Vietnam has three distinct climatic areas.
MOTORCYCLE GEAR:
Wearing adequate riding gear is an individual responsibility. We strongly recommend “adventure” type boots for this ride. Bring your own gear.
LUGGAGE:
We will be traveling light. Try not to take more than one 20kg luggage piece. It should be dust & water proof. For riding days take with you a small backpack or waterproof bag, to strap it to your motorbike.
IMPORTANT, REMEMBER:
Each participant must organize an entry visa for Vietnam, if required. We will provide you with necessary guidelines.
You must have an international driving license issued by the local authorities according to the 1968 Convention.

DAY 1 (01.04.2025)
Arrival at Da Nang airport. Transfer to Hoi An.
DAY 2 (02.04.2025)
Hoi An Sightseeing. Morning: bamboo boat, lantern workshop, walk in the old town. Lunch. Afternoon – free time for shopping (Hoi An is famous for silk and leather).
DAY 3 (03.04.2025)
Hoi An – Hue (165 km via Cloud pass). Lunch with seafood. Stop at one of the cemeteries close to Hue. Afternoon visit in the Hue Citadel.
DAY 4 (04.04.2025)
Hue – Phong Nha. Visit in the Vinh Moc Tunnels. Small ride on the beach – nice touch of adventure.
DAY 5 (05.04.2025)
Phong Nha – day off. Paradise cave visit. We do it in the classical way, or “full adventure version”. Alternatively we visit Paradise cave in the morning and Phong Nha boat cave in the afternoon. The decision depends on the participants.
DAY 6 (06.04.2025)
Phong Nha – Do Luong. We follow famous Ho Chi Minh trail.
DAY 7 (07.04.2025)
Do Luong – Ninh Binh We continue riding on Ho Chi Minh Trail. In the afternoon boat trip on Tam Coc river.
DAY 8 (08.04.2025)
Ninh Binh – Pu Luong. In the morning, if time permits, we visit Mua Cave. After lunch, on the way we stop to see traditional water mills and pass two bamboo small bridges.
DAY 9 (09.04.2025)
Pu Luong – Mai Chau. Lunch in the local family house – expect the best food in the world!
DAY 10 (10.04.2025)
Mai Chau – Hanoi. Finish motorbike riding. In the evening classic Soviet era 4×4 GAZ tour.
DAY 11 (11.04.2025)
Hanoi – Ha Long Bay. Minivan transfer to Ha Long Bay. Around 11.30 – 12.00check in on the luxury 5* boat La Regina. Cruise with additional activities on the bay. Night on the boat.
DAY 12 (12.04.2025)
Check out from the boat at around 11.30. Transfer to Hanoi. Lunch. Transfer to the airport for the evening flight to Europe.
