Himalaya: Women’s Motorcycle Tour

MOTORCYCLE TOUR 2016

This was our very first, inaugural Motobirds tour with an ambitious goal – to take eleven women riders across the Himalayas. Starting in Manali and finishing the tour in Leh, we covered over 1,700 kilometers of gravel roads across Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh. Visiting Lahaul and Spiti valleys, battling high altitude, and getting well off the beaten path, we finally crossed Khardung La, the highest motorable mountain pass in the world. Needless to say, this was one of our most unforgettable tours.
