TOUR DESCRIPTION:
Two ’Stans, One Epic Adventure — Kyrgyzstan & Tajikistan Motorcycle Tour
Your wild ride awaits. Swap city noise for mountain air and roll into a world of snow-capped peaks, red canyons, turquoise reservoirs, high deserts, and nomad country. This is Central Asia built for bikers: sweeping mountain tarmac, honest gravel, and high passes up to 4,655 m on the legendary M41.
Highlights
- Two countries, one line: Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek, Toktogul, Osh, Peak Lenin area, Gulcha, Kazarman, Song-Kul) → Tajikistan (Murghab, Wakhan Valley – Yamchun, Khorog, back via the Pamir Highway)
- Iconic riding: M41 Pamir Highway, Kyzyl-Art border highlands, Ak-Baital’s roof-of-the-road vibes, twisty Kyrgyz backroads to Song-Kul
- Culture & life: yurt camps, warm guesthouses, living nomad traditions, bazaar towns like Osh and Khorog
- Off-bike moments: hot springs near Yamchun, mountain-lake swims, short horse rides at Song-Kul, peak-view photo ops at the Peak Lenin area
- Ride your way: stick with the group or take your own rhythm;
- Backup when you want it: a guide on hand every step of the way
The Ride
Touch down in Bishkek and shake off the jet lag with a city stroll before picking up your bike. Aim south for Toktogul, where turquoise water cuts through red rock. Continue to Osh, Central Asia’s crossroads, then climb toward the Peak Lenin region with glacier views and big-sky valleys.
Cross into Tajikistan and feel the landscape go lunar around Murghab. Drop into the Wakhan Valley for Yamchun’s fortress outlooks and steamy hot springs, then roll riverside to Khorog for a well-earned rest day. Turn the bars back toward the high country and rejoin the Pamir Highway—long horizons, thin air, and the kind of silence you remember.
Re-enter Kyrgyzstan through wide-open border uplands and curve across Alay and Fergana foothills via Gulcha to Kazarman. The finale? Gravel and grassland tracks to the yurt-dotted shores of Song-Kul, where sunsets seem to last forever, before the last push back to Bishkek.
Adventure here is more than throttle. Soak in hot springs, share tea with locals, taste hearty dumplings and fresh bread, and sleep the way you like—under a felt roof, a hotel duvet, or a sky full of stars. Each day, choose camaraderie or quiet: ride with the pack or flow at your own pace. The guide is there when you want backup—no fuss.
This tour is for riders and nature lovers who crave the real thing—raw landscapes, high passes, and moments that stay with you long after the engine cools.
