TOUR DESCRIPTION:
Kyrgyzstan: Throttle Through the Land of Sky Roads and Nomads
Leave behind the ordinary and tear straight into the wild pulse of Central Asia — this is Kyrgyzstan like you’ve never imagined it. From the chaotic spice-scented stalls of Bishkek’s Osh Bazaar to the raw silence of alpine valleys, this ride is all horsepower, dust, and soul.
Over 9 days of riding, we’ll take you from the colorful chaos of Bishkek’s bazaars to the wind-scoured high passes that brush 4,000 meters. You’ll ride DRZ 400s or CFMoto 450MTs — machines built to handle goat trails, river crossings, and the occasional “road” that disappears entirely. We’ll sleep in yurts under skies you forgot existed, eat local fresh food.
Highlights?
-
Ride up to the alpine jewel of Song Kul Lake, sleep in a nomad yurt
-
Traverse the Tosor or Ara Bel Pass — wild, remote, absurdly beautiful
-
Visit Tash Rabat, a 15th-century Silk Road caravanserai that looks like it was invented by Tolkien
-
Chill at the shores of Issyk Kul, a lake the size of a small country
-
Witness a real eagle hunting demo — no CGI, just wings and talons
-
Soak in natural hot springs while your bones forgive you
Included: 10 nights of lodging (from boutique guesthouses to wild yurts), all meals (excerpt in Bishkek), fuel, support vehicle, guide, airport transfers, and bottled water to cry into when the scenery gets emotional.
This isn’t a poser’s ride. This is dirt, dust, and stories you won’t shut up about for years.. And no — you don’t need to carry your bags. We’ve got that covered. All you have to do is ride.
We kick things off in Bishkek, but don’t get too cozy — the asphalt ends fast. Twist the throttle and dive headlong into the wild, carving your way through valleys and peaks to the village of Kyzyl Oi. From there, it’s onto the mirror-like beauty of Song Kul Lake, where you’ll trade four walls for a traditional yurt and maybe even hop on a horse, channelling your inner Mongol warlord at 3,000 meters.
Then? Hold tight — because the route gets real. You’ll thread through forgotten passes to the ancient Silk Road stronghold of Tash Rabat, standing like a myth in the highlands. Overnight in Naryn, then aim your bike at the legendary Tosor or Ara Bel Pass — where the sky gets bigger and the road gets meaner.
After conquering the mountains, cool off by the endless blue of Issyk Kul. But you’re not done yet. The alien rock maze of Skazka Canyon awaits, followed by a front-row seat to a real eagle hunting demo in Karakol.
Still want more? Of course you do. Push deep into the untamed reaches of Sary Jhaz and Karkara, where borderlands and high pastures stretch into the void. Cap it all off with a soak in the wild hot springs of Cholpon Ata, where you can wash off the road grit and pretend you haven’t just been through the adventure of a lifetime.
Kyrgyzstan looks remote — and it is. But that remoteness comes at a cost. Fuel has to be hauled. Bikes need support. And those epic yurts aren’t booked through Expedia. What we offer isn’t just a ride — it’s a fully-supported expedition where you just show up and twist the throttle.
This tour isn’t just a ride — it’s a full-send into a land that still howls with the wind of the Silk Road. Gravel, glaciers, yurts, and eagles. You in?
