Costa Rica: Two Oceans, One Motorcycle, Endless Adventure
Costa Rica means “rich coast” — and it more than lives up to the name. With the Pacific Ocean on one side, the Caribbean Sea on the other, and a chain of mountains running right down the middle, this country feels like it was built for motorcycle travel.
If you love nature, off-road riding, and the occasional spike of adrenaline, this one’s for you. Winding asphalt and gravel trails take us through misty forests, past volcanoes, over rivers, and into lush green valleys. The riding here is fun, fast, and constantly changing — and every day brings a new surprise.
But this isn’t just about the bike. Along the way we’ll go whitewater rafting, swim in hidden jungle waterfalls, fly over the trees on ziplines, ride horses through the hills, and jump in warm waves. And at night? We rest in small boutique hotels — full of charm, surrounded by nature, and perfect for kicking back after a full day.
Each coast has its own character — wild and rugged on the Pacific, laid-back and colorful on the Caribbean. We’ll go deep into the country, off the beaten path, and show you Costa Rica from the inside out.

WEATHER:
The weather at this time of year is generally good but variable. This is the transition period from rain season to dry season. So the temperatures are wamr and pleasant, still not too hot, but it may rain from time to time. It is a bit cooler at night and in the higher mountains.
MOTORCYCLE GEAR:
Wearing adequate riding gear is an individual responsibility. We strongly recommend “adventure”. Bring your own gear.
LUGGAGE:
We will be riding light. Try not to take more than one 20kg luggage piece. It should be dust & water proof. For riding days take with you a small backpack or waterproof bag, with straps, to enable you to attach it to your motorbike.
IMPORTANT, REMEMBER:
Costa Rica a is a very friendly country with hospitable people. A lot of local places accept not only local currency, but also USD. ATMs are available in bigger towns or touristic places.. For this ride, we recommend considering “adventure” type boots. There might be short rains: a waterproof layer could be helpful.

- Costs related to the transport of a participant to the nearest medical center, in case of injury or illness or inability to continue the tour.
- Costs related to the transport of the participant’s motorcycle to the finish point of the tour, in case the motorcycle or the participant cannot continue the tour.
- Meals other than breakfasts.
- Entry tickets to the optional tourist attractions: optional visit in the Manuel Antonio National Park entry ticket (18 USD, guided visit 60 USD), Adventure Park Activities (price depends on the chosen activities, zipline, tarzan rope, horse riding, water tobogan), optional visit in the sloth territory (40 USD), optional night guided walk – animals observation (60 USD).
- Motorcycle refundable security deposit: USD 800 (payable by card or in cash in San Jose).
