WEATHER:
The weather at this time of year is generally good and sunny – it is the dry season. It can be hot at times. But in general the temperature should be warm and pleasant.
MOTORCYCLE GEAR:
Wearing adequate riding gear is an individual responsibility. We strongly recommend “adventure” type boots for this ride. Bring your own gear.
LUGGAGE:
We will be traveling light. Try not to take more than one 20kg luggage piece. It should be dust & water proof. For riding days take with you a small backpack or waterproof bag, to strap it to your motorbike. If you want more storage space, panniers can be mounted on your motorbike.
IMPORTANT, REMEMBER:
Many European countries, including Poland, are part of Thailand’s visa exemption program, allowing for stays up to 60 days for tourism. To qualify, your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay.
You need an International Driving Permit, any convention.

7.12 — Night 1: Chiang Mai arrival & hotel check-in
Extra arrival night to decompress. Early night—tomorrow starts with hotel pickup 07:30, hearty breakfast, paperwork, safety briefing, and bike handover before rolling out.
8.12 — Day 1: Chiang Mai → Phayao → Nan
Warm-up day on flowing mountain tarmac past forested hills and lakeside Phayao, finishing in cultural Nan. (Option to visit Wat Phra That Chae Haeng, etc.)
9.12 — Day 2: Nan → Bo Kluea (800-yr salt wells) → Doi Phukha → Nan — “Nan Loop”
Classic Northern Thailand loop: Bo Kluea’s ancient salt wells, ridge riding through Doi Phukha National Park, and back to Nan via village backroads.
10.12 — Day 3: Nan → Phu Langka → Phu Chi Fa → Chiang Khong (Mekong)
Scenic highlands to the viewpoints of Phu Langka and Phu Chi Fa, then descend to the Mekong-side town of Chiang Khong.
11.12 — Day 4: Chiang Khong → Golden Triangle → Chiang Rai
Follow the Mekong to the Thailand–Laos–Myanmar meeting point, then ride on to Chiang Rai for temples and creative spaces (incl. the White Temple / Wat Rong Khun).
12.12 — Day 5: Rest / Sightseeing in Chiang Rai
Free day for night markets, Wat Phra Kaew, Baan Dam (Black House), and nearby waterfalls/national parks—easy pace before the next stretch.
13.12 — Day 6: Chiang Rai → Chiang Dao → Mae Ta(man) → Pai
South via mountain backroads and valleys around Chiang Dao and Mae Ta(man), with viewpoints and Pai’s canyon & hot springs before a relaxed night in Pai.
14.12 — Day 7: Pai → Mae Hong Son
Curve-rich riding with stops such as Lod Cave and hilltop temple views around Mae Hong Son (e.g., Doi Kong Mu).
15.12 — Day 8: Mae Hong Son → Mae Sariang
Quiet valleys, lakes and pine forests (e.g., Pang Ung), cultural encounters with local Karen communities, and riverside sunset vibes in Mae Sariang.
16.12 — Day 9: Mae Sariang → Doi Inthanon → Chiang Mai
Finale over Thailand’s highest peak (royal pagodas, cool air), waterfall stops (e.g., Wachirathan), then return to Chiang Mai. Evening farewell dinner to toast the ride.
